|Mechanism of Action||
Methylcobalamin: is used to prevent and treat low vitamin B12. Lack of vitamin B12 may cause anaemia and damage to the nerves. It is used to treat diabetic neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy. It is an essential nutrient that helps the body make healthy red blood and nerve cells.
Alpha-lipoic acid:is a vitamin-like chemical called an antioxidant. Alpha-lipoic acid is used for diabetes and nerve-related symptoms of diabetes including burning, pain, and numbness in the legs and arms (including a disorder called cardiac autonomic neuropathy)
Benfotiamine:is a vitamin, prescribed to treat or prevent BeriBeri, Wenicke-korsakoff syndrome, diabetic neuropathy. It is an essential nutrient for development of the nervous system.
Methylcobalamin: Anorexia, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Parenteral: Rash, headache, hot sensation, diaphoresis and pain/induration at IM inj. site Potentially Fatal: Anaphylactoid reactions (parenteral).
Benfotiamine: Rarely allergic manifestations- such as skin reactions, urticaria.
Methylcobalamin&Benfotiamine: Hypersensitivity or allergy to the ingredients Alpha Lipoic acid: In Pregnancy and lactation may lower blood glucose. Monitor blood glucose levels regularly.
